秋と春は、風連湖、温根沼、野付半島など、アマモが多い湖沼。　冬は少数が凍らない水面に残る。
In autumn and spring, they stay in lake and bay, where eel glass thrives, such as Lake Furen, Onnetoh and Notsuke. Small number of swans spend winter in unfrozen water.

近距離で撮影したい場合は、冬の屈斜路湖が良い。　湿原の美しい風景と共に撮影する場合は、風蓮湖が適している。
Lake Kussharo in winter is good for close-up pictures. Lake Furen can be very nice, if you want to capture beautiful landscape with swans.

屈斜路湖では24－３００ｍｍ程度、風蓮湖では４００－６００ｍｍ程度のレンズが適している。
24－３００ｍｍ would be good for Lake Kussharo. 400-600mm would be good for Lake Furen.
